MAGH MELA
"Magh Mela is a Hindu festival held every year, in the months of January and February, at the confluence point of the three sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, called Triveni Sangam, 7 km from the city of Allahabad. Millions of devotees gather to this place to immerse themselves in the sacred waters. For the occasion, the banks of the river host tent camps where the faithful spend days together. Traditionally, many people shave their heads before taking the "sacred bath"..."
